about

As with the first track - same location, the following evening. However the solo butcherbird was roosting a little further away, and its voice carries in echo quite hauntingly an beautifully.

You can also hear Rock Wallabies dislodging stones occasionally as they browse along the slopes.

The original field recording for this track is nearly an hour in duration, and along with the full 20 minute recording for the first track, have been remastered and released in full to celebrate our 100th album release as 'The Pied Butcherbirds of Ormiston Gorge'.
