A rainshower refreshes the air in southeast Australian eucalypt forest.

Beginning with the first distant rumbles of thunder, the rain can be heard approaching, eventually falling quite heavily for a short time. Raindrops patter on the forest floor and drip from every gleaming leaf and fern.

As the precipitation gradually eases, the birdsong returns; Treecreepers, Black Cockatoos, Whistlers and Thornbills.
