about

Long shadows fall across a secluded bush waterhole as dusk approaches.

From the surrounding woodland comes the last of the day's birdsong. In the reedbeds, the first frogs begin calling; the 'plonk's of Eastern Banjo Frogs mixing with the slow 'creeeek's of Dwarf Green Frogs. As night draws in, the unique calls of Peron's Tree Frogs (sometimes known as 'Maniacal Cackling Frogs') grow into a rich amphibian chorus.

This is a peaceful recording from the conclusion of the day.
